UFC and Crypto.com signed a $175 million sponsorship agreement

The Ultimate Fighting Championship is the world’s major comprehensive martial arts organization. It continues to study the cryptocurrency industry in depth by announcing a sponsorship agreement with a cryptocurrency exchange.

UFC announced on Wednesday that it agreed to establish a partnership with Crypto.com, which is one of the world’s largest crypto trading platforms by volume, CNBC Report.

According to CNBC, the sponsorship is worth 175 million U.S. dollars and will last for more than 10 years.

As part of the agreement, the Crypto.com brand will appear on the combat equipment worn by the athletes during the competition and the clothing worn by the trainers. In addition, Crypto.com has also obtained the rights to the newly launched UFC sponsorship category “cryptocurrency platform partners”.

Crypto.com co-founder and CEO Kris Marszalek called the UFC transaction a “historic moment” and pointed out that it will help the sports industry “accelerate the world’s transition to cryptocurrency.”

Ari Emanuel, chief executive of Endeavor, a talent brokerage firm that acquired UFC shares in April, said the agreement was “just the beginning of a long-term partnership with UFC.”
