Outlier Ventures, a European blockchain accelerator ecosystem, announced today that Polygon, an expansion platform for Ethereum, has been selected as Outlier’s latest Base Camp accelerator program.
To date, since 2014, Outlier Ventures has accelerated more than 90 Web3 startups and developed a network of thousands of blockchain founders through its Ascent consulting program and quarterly Diffusion community activities. Outlier Ventures organizes this five-month rigorous accelerator program by cooperating with the mentors of Polygon and its ecosystem participants, which has the unique advantage of stimulating developer activity and growth on the Polygon network.
Polygon
The Polygon ecosystem became the center of expanding Ethereum-based applications in 2021. The value of more than 10 billion US dollars locked in the ecosystem is collected through the bridge from Ethereum. It is expected that hundreds of millions of dedicated venture capital will enter the field for start-ups. The construction is funded on the polygon.

The Polygon x Base Camp Accelerator program is now open for applications and will start in early 2022.
In addition to gaining access to Outlier Ventures’ leading Web3 founder mentor network, up to eight teams will join a five-month intensive program that supports founders in fundraising, community development, token design and implementation, and business Model innovation and governance.
The accelerator will also serve as a catalyst for the founders to develop projects in the context of Outlier Ventures’ Open Metaverse paper, which is an alternative design toolkit based on user-centricity and the principles of identity, data and wealth sovereignty.
