EEA member spotlight Adrian Corcoran, Head of Partnerships, 0Chain

As a member of the European Economic Area, 0 chain It is part of the EEA community organization dedicated to advancing Ethereum and promoting industry adoption. In the following Q&A, EEA interviewed Adrian Corcoran, the head of partnerships, to understand how 0Chain contributes to the ecosystem to help Ethereum reach its full potential.

Please briefly introduce your company and yourself.
I am the partner leader of 0Chain, working with a great team. We are committed to all blockchain collaboration, integration and partnership development in the corporate market space.

0Chain is an enterprise-level, decentralized cloud storage solution. It is a high-speed (final speed less than 1

What made you join the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance in the first place, and why did you decide to become a member?

We feel that EEA has done a very good job in education around Ethereum. Once we delve into our interests and working groups, we soon discovered that we want to become members and play an active role.

In addition, it is a great resource and opportunity to be able to discuss industry challenges, business models and ideas around our agreement with respected members of the EEA (in blockchain and enterprises).

What is your current work on Ethereum? How will end users benefit from your work?

We recently completed the NFT storage protocol and Simple Storage Device (S3), Interplanetary File System (IPFS) and Fuse migration repository.

Ultimately, from the perspective of NFT storage, end users will benefit from the storage permanence of the multi-payer pool and understand that their newly purchased NFT will have a prepaid storage period (NFT MarketPlace) for them before the buyer obtains ownership. Newly purchased NFTs prepay their own storage allocation.

In addition, we have created a variable NFT store for live video, allowing artists and creators to monetize their work through direct business-to-consumer transactions, enabling them to fully control and generate direct income.

Our S3, IPFS and Fuse migration tools will allow current users of the aforementioned protocols to migrate their data storage in a simple onboarding process by using the toolkit they are currently familiar with.

How will the EEA strengthen the current work of your organization?

EEA provides an excellent platform for cooperation through its large number of interests and working groups, as well as like-minded members in blockchain and enterprises.

What is the EEA project you are most interested in?

We are very happy to collaborate with EEA’s Mainnet Interest Group to write many educational papers about our pioneering “high-speed” distributed data cloud storage and its continued use in the enterprise and IPFS or archive dStorage layer.

We also look forward to publishing multiple papers in the DeFi interest group on block storage, indexing, and the differences between 0Chain and IPFS and archive storage layers.

Finally, we are very happy to be a member of the aforementioned group and make contributions, which is expected to lead us to develop a new interest group centered on decentralized data cloud storage.
