Satoshi Action Fund Secures $300,000 for Bitcoin Advocacy Efforts

Satoshi Action Fund (SAF) has raised $300,000 of its $500,000 fundraising target, with two weeks remaining in its campaign, according to a recent update from Dennis Porter, SAF’s CEO and co-founder. The milestone reflects SAF’s commitment to shaping Bitcoin-friendly policies at both state and federal levels in the U.S., ensuring Bitcoin’s role in future regulatory frameworks.

Advancing Bitcoin Legislation

SAF has been instrumental in driving Bitcoin (BTC) and BTC mining policies. The organization has spearheaded over 20 legislative initiatives, four of which have successfully become law. Additionally, SAF has engaged with more than 2,000 state and federal lawmakers and participated in over 20 public hearings to emphasize Bitcoin’s potential to benefit the economy, society, and the environment.

A key focus for SAF is advocating the role of BTC mining in enhancing grid stability and sustainability, countering narratives that overlook its economic and environmental benefits.

Pushing for a U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserve

SAF has also championed the establishment of a U.S. strategic Bitcoin reserve, an initiative gaining traction among influential figures such as Senator Cynthia Lummis and former President Donald Trump. The fund is working closely with policymakers and the public to highlight Bitcoin’s potential for fostering technological innovation and economic growth.

A Mission to Secure Bitcoin’s Future

Porter’s announcement highlights not just the progress of SAF’s fundraising campaign but also the organization’s broader mission to ensure Bitcoin’s adoption benefits society while opposing policies that could hinder its potential.

As SAF continues its work to protect and promote Bitcoin’s role in the U.S. economy, the remaining weeks of the campaign will be critical in achieving its $500,000 goal and advancing its advocacy efforts.
